The event at Shadow Ridge Country Club benefits United Way of the Midlands. The Omaha-based outfit of United Way focuses on four areas of impact: health services, youth opportunities, financial literacy, and community resiliency. The organization recently surpassed its annual goals by providing more than 10 million meals, 415,000 shelter nights, 140,000 educational events, and 515,000 health services appointments across the Omaha metro area.
