The Applied Underwriters Invitational is back—bigger and better than ever—with an ambitious goal of raising $13 million for local charities across 85 events. As the title sponsor, Applied Underwriters is proud to support these charities by sending representatives to actively participate in each event. Our Applied Hosts play a key role in driving change, raising funds for vital causes nationwide, and fostering connections through the fun and inclusive four-person scramble format. It’s all about making an impact—on the greens and beyond.
The Role of an Applied Host
Applied Hosts serve a vital role as the face of Applied Underwriters, its businesses, and its practices, engaging with the local business community. Bring a team of colleagues and business partners to spend the day building and strengthening valuable business relationships in a dynamic and engaging setting.
Put together a dynamic foursome
Your foursome should include yourself and three business contacts. They can be clients, sales agents, vendors, or anyone you are looking for a chance to get to know a little better. There is a limit of two Applied employees per foursome, and the team handicap cannot be lower than 43.0.
Ensure Applied Underwriters is represented at the tournament
Your primary contact will be the Tournament Director, a leader within the charity hosting the event. The Tournament Director and their staff will plan and carry out the event. We ask that you stay in contact with them and help ensure Applied is properly represented on the day of the event.
Network to create meaningful connections
We encourage you to personally greet and thank everyone you encounter, introducing yourself as a representative of Applied. After the tournament, be sure to follow up with your foursome and other connections you’ve made to leave a lasting, positive impression.
